Objective of the operation: Efficient implementation of LDS, including 

implementation of Communication Plan.

Expected results of the operation: financial progress in the implementation of LDS.

Development of the cultural offer of Warszawski Zachodni Poviat thanks to adaptation and making available new space used for cultural purposes, co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Regional Operational Program of Mazowieckie Voivodship for the years 2014-2020. Priority Axis V  Environmentally friendly economy, Activity 5.3. Cultural heritage.

Project objectives

The main objective of the project is to increase access to cultural resources for the residents of Błonie Commune and Warszawski Zachodni Poviat by providing new cultural space, making attractive and developing cultural offer in the field of educational, cultural, stage and exhibition activities and increasing the potential for tourism of the Błonie Commune through promotion of commune cultural resources in the Internet. 

Achieving the objective will be possible mainly through the following activities - modernization of the part of the building at the School Complex No. 1 in Błonie, including:

o improving the energy efficiency of the building through modernization of the heating infrastructure,

o eliminating architectural barriers and adapting the building to the needs of the disabled, 

o renovating the hall, stage and backstage located in the building,

o equipping the building with light, sound, multimedia, exhibition equipment and furniture enabling to conduct a wide range of educational and cultural activities,

o securing collections held by the institution and providing access to digitized cultural heritage resources.

Planned results

The project implemented in this scope will contribute to a qualitative change in the reception of culture, improvement of access to cultural resources, strengthening educational functions and increasing the level of participation of residents in cultural life. Achieving the expected objectives will also improve the aesthetics of the public space and quality of social infrastructure, and thus will lead to the improvement of the quality of cultural activities, as well as the quality of life and investment attractiveness of the areas in the project impact zone.

In addition, the modernization of the building will increase the space used for cultural purposes by more than 15%, i.e. 350 m2, which will translate into growth in the number of visitors to the institution by about 20% and extend the time of accessibility for residents by about 20%.
